Hi all what good pics of tdw I remember them trucks and the drivers I drove a 7.5 cargo box then when I passed my HgV I drove e977tdw a iveco on tramp work tommy was a good boss to work for Paul drove the road train ,john parry drove a freighter 18tonner Gareth Owen drove a Bedford 7.5 TAUTLINER good boys all of them we’ll done dia ec14 will know the story of Andrew Williams getting lost in London and mammy telling him bring the load back

Hi Smallcoal, here is e970 tdw. tha last I heard of mark, he was doing some drving for N.R.Evans.tha was going back in the late 90s.

Helllo smallcoal, mark dad is Vivian, viv had a brother john. Their fathe was WJ DAVIES, from Landore. WJ DAVIES had lorries, W.G.Davies, Morriston had a lorry.
When B.R.S was denationalise, wjdavies bought W.G.DAVIES, and kept the name going to this day. wjdavies wife name Bonham davies, when viv was born, he was named Vivian Bonham davies, that’s how V.B.DAVIES got the name on the trucks, viv & john had big argument, but that’s another story.
Roy Colcombe from Boen-y-Maen, Had blue F89 Volvos, the yard is still there now, also own the fish shop. Malcolm Cotterell, bought nth 14y roadtrain off Owens, years ago he was a driver for John Evans Transport. here,s a pic of W.J.DAVIES.

Thanks for the call this morning.didnt Roy colcombe have yellow 88’s? The two blue 88’s that come to my mind? We’re owned by mad bob Davies,(rip).both of mad bob’s 88’s have been restored.
