Hi all,
Thanks for the compliment Harry.steelboyf10,got your email thanks .here is a daf fuelling up on the old dual carriageway between Briton ferry and baglan.that fuel price is for a gallon, happy days
Regards andrew.
exactly when did the â â â â â â â â that canâŚdecide to make diesel dearer than petrol just wondering likeâŚ
The politicians decided in the early 90âs that changing the pricing to a litre âbrought us in line with Europeâ but what they were really doing was fleecing the public into thinking that a penny on a litre every budget time wasnt much, but in reality it added up to as much as 5p per gallon. fleeced joe public no end, ripped the haulage industry off a treat, then good old Gordon Brown decided in the early naughties that Diesel should be more expensive than petrol as everyone at the time was purchasing Diesel cars (something like 3 - 1 ratio) as thye were more efficient, but Petrol has cuaght up but diesel hasnt gone down!
Gordon brown⌠makes sense I suppose
Hi all, well Andrew your old F16 does look superb.
