exactly when did the ■■■■■■■■ that can…decide to make diesel dearer than petrol just wondering like…

The politicians decided in the early 90’s that changing the pricing to a litre ‘brought us in line with Europe’ but what they were really doing was fleecing the public into thinking that a penny on a litre every budget time wasnt much, but in reality it added up to as much as 5p per gallon. fleeced joe public no end, ripped the haulage industry off a treat, then good old Gordon Brown decided in the early naughties that Diesel should be more expensive than petrol as everyone at the time was purchasing Diesel cars (something like 3 - 1 ratio) as thye were more efficient, but Petrol has cuaght up but diesel hasnt gone down! :imp:

thanks for sharing more of your cool glyn john photos.the final picture with a chap with a hat on standing next to a white iveco,is that noel ? don’t know his surname.i have repaired a couple of cars (several years ago) for an ex glyn john driver and that could be him,25 years ago?
