Hi Steve,
You are dead right mate.they compliment one another.an f89 would look cool in astran’s yellow with a spread axle tilt behind her

If it’s a spread axle it must be old(cuzz)

It is red and blue and it used to belong to a firm down Somerset I think they were called rekwob or something similar that is all I can make out because the tilt cover has been painted over a few times and it has got a lot of repair patches on it

hiya,
Andrew, is the location of the last few photo’s a former World War two
airfield ■■, there’s something about it, was it once a storage depot ■■,
I seem to recall having been there many years ago for a return load.
thanks harry, long retired.

hi harry,
correct,my understanding is that it was a large r.a.f. station, with de havilland mosquito’s based there.i think cliffystephens may be getting confused with the p.o.w. camp near ewenny?
regards andrew.

it was mainly an RAF gunnery school , with I believe a coastal command element based there , Glyn Morgan from Porthcawl was based there during the war & used to go home for dinner !!
