Another of j&m’s Middle East motors,stg 993m a 16 speed 240 driven by Sid evans (r.i.p.).
The 240’s that J’&m ran were a good reliable motor.unlike the two 290’s though when still fairly new stg had a bad smash in eastern turkey.my father changed the cab and the brand new one from griffin mill volvo was a brown trim 290.thats why it has the larger 290 grille.
