1looks very much like ryan plant komatsu D455 Dozer.
Hi graham,
If anyone would know the right answer on heavy plant ,then it would be youmy mate stan had his new motor today.celtic recycling’s new version 4 fh might? be the first 16 litre double drive in Wales?
There is a reply on the komatsu below and i will differ, ryan never run a D355,The D455 was previously owned iirc by ramwell plant before it came into the ryan group. It actually excavated the settling ponds at newlands colliery at cornelly back in the 80s ,I think tony morgan used to move it as there was very few in this area that could carry it at the time,By todays standards it would be a walk in the park to move.

that is the tractor,it had the variable ripper fitted, think all up weight was around 80/85 tons but the ROPS had to be removed for transport iirc.

Hi all,
Here are a few more of Celtic recycling’s new fh16.last Thursday stan loaded this transformer,up north-ish somewhere
hiya,
The transformer and electrical switchgear job brings back memories, more years ago
than I’d rather remember I used to bring scrap ones from mainly the North of Scotland
and deliver them to Stafford Prison to keep the inmates busy, ironically the scrappers
had most likely been originally manufactured just along the road, a case of Wynns took
em’ out and I brought em’ back, just wish I’d had that motor for doing the job.
thanks harry, long retired.
