These pictures are all courtesy of roger wilkinson.years ago when roger drove for llandow based monarch transport,he had this bad accident when coming home from Grangemouth fully freighted with timber.fortunatley nobody was hurt :exclamation:

Hi. can i ask where did you get fisguard Transport pictures, and have you anymore. The FL7 was a lovely truck, a bit under powered. Did her first trip with my father many years ago, (pulling mushrooms from Ireland) then later drove her a bit after passing my test. cheers

The Fishguard transport photos are all from eilir or as he’s known on trucknet,m4 dogwalker and were taken by him whilst out walking his dog, near…you guessed it the m4 :laughing: :laughing: am I the only member who can post pictures at the moment :question: I can’t seem to get the uploader to work :smiling_imp:

The Fishguard transport photos are all from eilir or as he’s known on trucknet,m4 dogwalker and were taken by him whilst out walking his dog, near…you guessed it the m4 :laughing: :laughing: am I the only member who can post pictures at the moment :question: I can’t seem to get the uploader to work :smiling_imp:

Was happy to see Fishguard Transport photo,s as spent many a year with my dad driving for them and then on my own off and on for a good few years. i may be completely mad but cant work out the photo thing. Was home in Fishguard a couple of weeks ago and got some pictures from WF Halls yard and Mansel Davies yard. Any help would be great.

Roger was unlucky to have that accident,though incredibly lucky that nobody was injured :sunglasses:.it happened through no fault of his,a mk3 cortina came across the road into him.took the front of the car,engine and box clean away :open_mouth: .he also told me that this Scania was his favourite truck during his time with monarch transport.their 110’s were amongst the first in South Wales.
