Hi Andrew hows things ? The little daf in the corner might have been my shunter F507 KBF if i remember in Manchester . Yes it must nearly been the end of Joint because Billy had the Man there . I bet it was a come down from a 1748 !

we are fine thanks.that may well be the manchester shunter daf? though the man in the shot isn’t either of the two that billy hathaway had new.the one in eilir’s photo is n535 twn which was new to my old mate peter lewis.billy had m12 jmh and then s501 sdw ,the joint man’s were good tractors,though not a patch on the 1748!!!

it came about when i shunted 4 blue line when roger was off i loaded the coal trailers coming down the weighbridge it was wayne golden balls jenkins he shouted out u got smallcoal on there it stuck with other drivers they used that as my nick name i still get called it now :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
