a mate who i worked with at joint,20 years ago,has just taken delivery of this fm globetrotter.this vehicle is the first (in our area at least) to carry the new company name and branding,lafarge Tarmac.

Andrew,I see a nameplate in the window of that Volvo Sparky. Would this be the Sparky I used to run with when he was with Gloystarne in the late nineties ?

Hi mike,
Sparky may have worked for gloystarne?you do know him,mark wallis?tbh am not 100% sure of his name,even though I have known him for 30 years.he was on nights regular with joint,then blue line,before all that he drove for Grahame keedwell.

We repaired this fm before Xmas.i noticed the yellow and green no longer on the body.tarmac branding on the cab.

Hello Andrew,yes Sparkys name is Mark ,lives in Cornelly I think,used to prop up the bar in the New House. I was working for Herberts when he was with Gloystarne,we were on the bog rolls out of Maesteg,I was sharing a wagon with Tony the Tiger for a while.
