Pity there isnāt a photo like that only Guy Big Js instead of S/As. Could possibly show a rake of 240 Patricrofts poking out from under the cabs.

After seeing Billy Beltās MAN with a B+I trailer - hereās another B+I subbie - Pembroke Transport. For the life of me I canāt remember which thread I got this off or whoās it is - apologies if anyone recognises it - Iām not passing it off as my own thoI recall these wagons well, from Pembroke (dur) and based just over the river from the castle IIRC. I donāt remember Watkins (in the background) at all but I think they were from Kilgetty way.
do u have any photos from band i days .wakins were from sageston
Hi Mike,
Iām afraid I donāt have old pics unless I find them on here - like I said the f88 wasnāt my image which makes me feel a bit guilty but Iām only really re-posting within trucknet. Itās photos like that that drew me to this brilliant thread - such memories!
So Watkins was from Sageston! I donāt remember them at all for some reason. Who was the guy near Cross Hands Martletwy with the white Transcontiās?
Speaking of Transcontiās from Pembrokeshire - hereās one from Carmarthen Truckshow a couple of years back:
hi mate billy belt had transcon he was from x hands martletwy regards mike

hi all,
ex tony morgan scammell seen here with leicester heavy haulage .that heavily converted cab was huge!!!
Been away for the weekend , just logged on and saw the old pictures of the JR motors. The one of the old Atkis on the previous page must have been taken in the early 70s because they are parked on what later became the car park after the yard was extended .I saw a couple of my old steeds on there ,WEP 380 T and on the shot from the rear of the later line-up there is my Rockwool tractor which had an experimental deflector blade on the roof. Thanks for jogging my memory ,it
s not as good as it used to be.
