I am not sure who had the first F10 from Griffin Mill. Our F10 - TCY 260S was reg-- 9/3/78.
There was not many S reg F10s around, but then the T reg were everywhere.
N&A James’s was a T reg F12, - they never had a new F10.
I’ve added some Griffin Mill S reg F10 photos.
They are all fitted with the same rear mudguards. Regards - Hywel.

Dai Echo has just increased his fleet size by importing this trailer into South Wales for extra living space at the truck shows.
Thanks go the SteelboyF10 for making this happen.

hello rowly,
my uncles name was bert hillman and drove an octopus index 837 HTX ,most of the work was out sws blackwood or treforest along with aberdare cables,as work went it was,nt that bad, when he worked there i believe the driver of the scammell low loader neville? was promoted to the traffic department, there was also a fitter from aberdare called john davies iirc,at that time they were based at viaduct works taffs well along with associated companies county diggers, taff viaduct products, glammon haulage. i can remember moscow driving an early 86 and a couple of years later glyn john in 1968/69 were running quite a few D1000s with ■■■■■■■ engines that were used heavily on the P Leiner contract.
kindest regards graham.

As a very rough guess, Tree Harvesting based at Churchstoke had an F10 UHB…S . Otherwise secondly S and K at Barry regards Keith

My money would be on Fred Ames of Maesteg having the first F10

Miles and Haines transport of Brecon also had an early s plate working out of the mid wales forestry on logs.
