Mansel Davies are Volvo agents now,but could have bought their first F86 from Griffin Mill.Just think back who ra Volvo’s,quite a few I suppose.

Baldrys were from Orcop.They had quite a few lorries out there at one time.Alan is Freds son and ran out of Watkins old yard at Mansons Cross,Monmouth.Greenlands were also owned by Baldrys.Happy Xmas and a Happy New year to all.May you enjoy good health and happiness.Regards Rich.

i dare say that f86 was from pontypridd,the old place near the town centre.got it in my head? they were bedford dealers before volvo? wouldn’t be the first time i have got it wrong though :exclamation: remember going there (upper boat) as a kid,before they moved to the later facility overlooking the a470.with regard to the first f88,again i wouldn’t know the correct answer.a good guess would be caswell’s or evans of brynmawr.maybe :question: the one bookworm mentioned was the first :question:i am guessing the first f88 in wales would be a g or h reg :question: j&m transport on stormy down had ytg 480h,but they bought that one second hand with a kipppered engine :exclamation:

Hi Andrew, 72 Farenight today rising to 77 tomorrow as high temps, but it can go down to freezing (34). Was scrapeing ice off car a few days ago.
Silly season at the Postal Service finished today, two days earlier than normal as its so slow. Quite a few routes consolidated, and a few cancelled. My Orlando to Dallas cancelled, so extra day off, Ho Ho Ho let the party begin.

Once again, best wishes to all for the Xmas and New Year season.
