Thanks for the pictures oily :sunglasses: .chris childs has sent me a few good pictures of his new Volvo that’s working hard across Canada.love the welsh dragon Chris,very patriotic :laughing: the Volvo makes the new peterbilt look ancient :smiley: .that’s a fair old whack of timber Chris,what weight is that?
Not that bad actually, I can gross 46500kg with the step frame, on my trailer is about 29500kg, the b trains gross at 64500kg,

Spotted one on the road in the same colours too, how old do you think these are?

That red one belongs to one of Walters companies at Avonmoth Andrew,so Graham told me a few months ago.
Keltruck had the yellow one for sale at the Retro show.

at walters avonmouth i gather they have another red one? and the one i was enquiring about is the ex rob brown 8x4 scania?don’t know if they still run that?graham’s old 09 reg that was in hereford,is in ireland now sold.here is another xmas mystery,who were this firm? i can’t say i remember them? my mate,hop along rowly will know :wink: :laughing: picture courtesy of m4dogwalker.chris childs i still don’t know how heavy that timber is :laughing: ? those fodens would be from the early 1990’s :sunglasses: .thanks everyone :sunglasses: .

walters have in the avonmouth yard the red scania r620 6x4 and they also own the yellow un marked r620 8x4 along with a faymonville 2 bed 5 trailer and a five axle faymonville step frame along with a new 4 axle stepframe faymonville.

Is the yellow Scania that you mention an ‘08’ plate? If its the lorry I’m thinking of, I always thought it was owned by someone else ( I won’t say his name for obvious reasons… ). The ‘owner’ comes in to us occasionally with various bits of kit on the back. He always gives me the impression that his arse is on fire :smiley: ‘His’ occasional driver, on the other hand, is a nice bloke and an interesting fella to talk to…far more relaxed about the whole job! :smiley: :wink:
