Though he must have been one of the firm Ianto.Used to see a Sed/Atki artic parked around the pole for several years, then went by a few times and no lorry.Thought he must have retired, then next time I went by,there was an ERF artic there.Have seen them up this way occasionally.
Cheers Dave.

Hi All.
The first photo of Tony Morgans Mack was in Hobbs Quarry with Tony driving when it was only a week old, the next one with the steam engine on board, was with Tony again. The engine I think went down the south coast some where, sorry can’t remember any better. It had the Maxidyne 330 engine and could really pull a house down. I was very sorry to see that go, only good thing was I went on to the Kenworth after that.

Here’s another of Howard’s pictures.what were the foden designers thinking of when they created this pig ugly cab?

the same handsome  foden, don’t know the model number, sorry.this time she’s owned by wt davies in cardiff.i think? she had a 240 gardner.
[album][/]

Thanks for these pictures howard :sunglasses: .you asked what happened to the foden? It was last owned by an old drinking mate of mine,Simon Caudle back in the mid 90’s when he owned kenfig salvage.as far as I can remember, she was recycled courtesy of ken appleyard on port talbot dock.i dare say her Gardner enjoyed a tropical maritime based workload after that
