The green machines are back on tv next Friday at 8pm on Channel 5 for a new series.
It’s not the worst thing on TV.

very close though
Its bloody close though!
True. But I like to watch it purely for its comedy value.
Next week but mark the blue eyed boy is off to new york, you mean it not filmed live i got bored of it, was a good watch but it does get boring after a while.
Bet they won’t mention this…

My heart goes out to everyone affected
It’s drivers driving - and talking ■■■■■■
Sounds like a shift at work to me so nah… no thanks.
Get ready for the blind side rigid reversing and the 1 of 3 deliveries completed in a full shift
But the point is that this series has converted many lorry-haters. The old biddies at my Mum’s Bowls Club just can’t get enough of it and after 25 years of being ashamed of my job, she is suddenly beaming with pride to tell her friends that her son drives a truck too.

+1 well said!
After how many series you know what to expect, so like all TV, if the program annoys you that much or you just not interested, you have 2 choices, turn over or turn off.
But of course those who hate it the most will watch and then post their bile towards it on here.
As Harry said it does seem very popular with people who would have never had anything to do with trucks. The program may miss-inform them, but at least it’s a positive miss information for a change.

Stop being sensible. Its probably against forum rules.

+2 I don’t drive for them, every one I have met from Stobarts is friendly. They are only doing their job to support their family, just like you are. Lets stop this ■■■■■■■■.

Yes, I have never understood this anti-Stobart sentiment. When I encounter their drivers, as I do every single week, I don’t treat them any differently to any other driver. When one of their trucks overtakes me, I flash them in, same as I flash in any other truck. Why would anyone treat them any differently?
I suppose it’s Political Correctness. Now that you can’t hate people on grounds of race, gender or ■■■■■■ orientation, the only people you are legitimately allowed to hate are Stobart drivers and gingers
I don’t think its the poor unfortunates that work for stobbbies, it’s the ■■■■■ company that IS stobbies that gets the stick imo

PMSL with the gingers line as an englishman in ginger land (scotland). Before the locals get on their high horses, I’m trying to improve the Scottish gene pool by marrying a local ginger. You have to agree ginger is wrong. )
