If you were at morrisons wakefield today I apologise for jumping the queue. It is my first time here and the security bloke told me to go straight up.
I said sorry to the bloke who kindly came up and told me I had jumped the queue and told him.
Others would be angry as I would if I had been waiting too.
Used to get the disgruntled look a lot when visiting many RDCs and jumping the queue every time as it was part of the contract that we were in and out within 30 mins of arrival…
Gave those drivers whose companies had no such agreement something to pull their faces at
We had an agreement like that at Asda North Hykeham, it wound a few drivers up. I had 30 or 40 deliveries, they had one or two [emoji23]

I love it when a truck pulls up somewhere, brakes smoking, and the driver comes running over. “Mate, I only have one pallet, mind if I go first?”
Actually, yes I do mind. Calm yourself down. Just because you have more drops doesn’t mean I hAve to be longer.
Apology accepted Jamih…although quite honestly, i couldnt give two you know what
.
Wasn’t in a rush, last day so it can be as long as it wants. Just didn’t know where to go apart from where the security bloke to me. I did tell the bloke who told me I have jumped the queue he could go before me but he huffed and puffed and walked off.
Never mind anyway. I’ll check next time [emoji111]
Morrisons at Gadbrook was my favourite.
Off the roundabout, steam straight up to the security hut/barrier past all the wagons waiting on the left.
Finest Borat impression armed and ready Did it about three times before I got caught
Yeah I already had to go in then back out as the morrisons driver behind said just go down that lane.
Yeah the wrong lane.
He was clocking off and couldn’t get round because of me.
I won’t be doing that again!
I used to love tipping at Morrison’s Wakefield with a morning booking, Their canteen had the Best breakfast going back in the day.
Maybe if every company had the same "in and out in 30 minutes " policy get there get tipped and chuff off would be the norm not the usual there all day routine which seems common these days.
Yeah I agree with that. The other morrisons in Bradford is a long wait. Sometimes 5/6 hous minimum. There’s normally one of our empty trailers in there yard so I tell them I’m dropping this one and taking that.
If its the one i thinking if, you’d still get stuck coming out and even if you get your paperwork first, as the driver who came in 2 hours earlier still doesn’t gave theirs and is blocking your exit. Nutty place.
