I’ve heard of some ridiculous excuses for having to take a 45 in a bad place because you’ve run out of hours but that’s just downright dangerous!

Did they manage to shut down the M23, M25 and M1 for you to be recovered (assuming you have been)? I know the M1 is nowhere near there, but someone with the matrix signs has to do something useful during the day. Oh and did you try turning it off and on again as these things all seem to be giant computers on wheels these days and require special initiation ceremonies to fix them (bit like my last car).
Forgot to ask, does the aircon work!? If so at least it’s a good excuse to stay in the cab.

Yea clutch is knackered had the same thing happen to me although luckily it happened in a yard.
Did you notice any hesitation with the gear changes on the lead up?
Pretty sure its the release bearing at first I thought it might off been the computer but disconnecting the battery for a few minutes did nothing.

Now that I think about it I’ve had two go on me both DAF.
they both went at around 250k miles i think.
