very nice, funny thing is I used to pull D/D and everytime I looked at them i used to comment about being able to turn one into a mobile home for travelling, proves it can be done, £2000 though, surely he could ask a lot more,we all at one time or another have looked at small campers,[transit types]and they go for a lot more,£3000 to £5000 upwards

No test on the trailer so it’s going to be a Bugger to move legally !

Repaint the M&S sign and sneak it onto one of their sites for Dozy to use ?

Don’t like all that glass up front. Stone any body?

Four years to turn it around :open_mouth:

Off Course you cant park a Lorry just anywhere, but a Mobile Home is a Mobile Home. Isnt it?

Bit of a grey area. Usually ok provided they could be considered to be unladen.

Surely one of our travelling friends would be able to use it and park it anywhere with impunity??

Surely it would have been a better re-design if he’d kept the original doors and recessed the double glazing. Adding both security, discreetness, and insulation, making it more autistically pleasing (if that’s possible). Removing the rails along the inside for the locking bars might have been a good idea too.
iirc there’s a converted tipper body on the show curcuit that’s been converted for accommodation, the tailgate is air/hydraulically operated for access, with steps up.

I think Crane Fruehaufs converted one into a bar, to use at PR events.

Two things…

1, Love the comment, ‘Good lad is Iftikhar. He’s always loved lorries, ever since the day he came over in one’…

And 2, Send it to London, the preice of property there, he’ll make a mint on it…
