thanks for the replies mat,alix and longwayround,

it can be clean work mat and 90% of it is, but sometimes you find yourself with clambering over a fence with extra hose into a dive of a place, whilst in full pvc suit :laughing: wont be doing that again :laughing:

Good pics them Wirralpete Is the 3rd one down taken at Ball Packaging in Rugby (Continental Can) We run out of the Wrexham can plant and i often see your motors in there, Ill keep an eye out for you

simon yes have finally sussed it out, taken a while to get get my head around it :laughing:
nianiamh yep thats ball packaging, we work out of ici boardsley green around every 5 weeks, sometimes going over to france but mostly rugby,wrexham and taking tanks up to hull, hams hall, and daventry can get boring :slight_smile: will keep an eye out for you in rugby, what motor do you drive mate?

I run out of the Wrexham plant on nights starting any time between 16.00 to 18.00hrs,

nian we used to load out of there when it was continental can in the 90s, mainly cans for poland but sometimes 206 ends - different weight altogether as you’ll probably know :frowning:

And just to keep us on our toes jj72 theyve now put the can ends onto plastic pallets which wont stay where you put them :unamused: A full load now is 52 plts just under 26t, iam glad we dont have our old 260 Merc drags anymore :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: Who were you on for back in the 90s? was it Westermans? one of our drivers left to go on for them way before my time he sadlly got killed in a head on smash Alan Hunt was his name a big fella. All we get in there now are Poles in there little single axle drags & plenty of irate eastern europeans on for the german firms
We do get the odd Chambers & Cook in for the end`s, i think its for Coke in France somewhere

jj72 sorry its took a while to reply, the load at rugby is laquer. comes out of ici holdens in boardsley green, birmingham.
nianiamh, there is another ball packaging at bierne france right next door to coke depot we used to run that over, was a good number however ici holden have losted the contract for that we still go over to gravellines.
