if you follow the road that you are on to the end, it opens out and there is a weighbridge for the paper/plastics recycling place, last building on the right before it opens up

You are right agian. The building before is where we pick up and drop off at 
i have been to that recycling place a couple of times, it a real PITA getting on/off that weighbridge with where/how it is positioned
LOL I only just got in, having said that a quick squint at that site and it doesn’t look RAF at all. Still looks like a B1 hangar though.
