Seriously some trucker idiosyncrasies I just need to get clarified (I’ve visited one school and will visit another tomorrow, been busy in my day job do not had the time to visit besides still waiting on me provisional)

While working in my current job I was talking to a long distance artic driver and he was complaining about having to hand in his eyes at the gate.
Eh? What does this mean.
Secondly.
I’ve heard truckers again talk about something called truckers bladder, sounds unpleasant… again what is this?
