Found the following pic’s on FB, maybe they look familiar to you? Apparently Spesial Transport was a Norwegian firm which was taken over by Econofreight, don’t know what happened to it when Econofreight went ■■■■ up, like or what happened to those lorries… However, they’re rather interesting, especially the day cabbed 10 wheeler, haven’t seen something like that before…

I didn’t knew that there were non-intercooler versions available when the F-series came out…? Did have a 16-speed 'box then I reckon…? Does that firm still excist to this day?
Hiya mate! Found the article! It says that when they got the 10whweeler they order one more instantly. And there biggest partner on the Big Jobs was econofright! This article was from 1987 and it says they had done alot of jobs in the M/E and also australia! And the moved 10 steemtrains from Rumania to china
But still i dont know if they do some work today. I know there is a company called spesialtransport in Norway today but i dont think they are related. But i will call the guy who build our trailers and see if he knows someting

Hi Patric! That 146 T-cab is fantastic! The 10wheeler Volvo i know had an Alison automatic gearbox, and if it hauled U137 to its final restingplace. You know the russian sub that hit land on south of Sweden early 80 somthing. That company is now Havator the finnish company.
But that Big norwegian MAN is something eh,me like to think its the same company as the old 10wheeler Volvo. But thats just m thinking…

Hiya mate,
Have to look that up I’m afraid, about that russian sub, doesn’t ring a bell
Wouldn’t have thought that that 10 wheeler was equiped with an Allison 'box…? Most interesting indeed
And my thoughts as well on that Norwegian MAN, name’s the same though…? Another search is on then I reckon
Dirty Dan:
Here is a pic of that 10 wheeler with the sub.

Cracking stuff there Danne!
Found some pic’s on a dutch forum about Spesial Transport, and that day cabbed 10 wheeler, but for some reason I can’t seem to post those pic’s on here…?
Just have a look yourself, if you’re interested that is, wesje.nl and use the search function.
Done some more digging, and found their website, spesialtransport.com, there’s a gallery section with the “newer” stuff on, but more interesting there are some grand pic’s of that 10 wheeler on as well amongst others.
That a great find mate! I had a feeling that i was the same company!
What a great truck it was in its day that 10wheeler,would love to have work that one
