Here’s some more, think that Smith’s motor has a ■■■■■■■ in! Another one of the Sirtar, looks like a road test. A nice Mk5 and a couple of new ones for 1971, notice the different wiper positions and early mirror arms.

no shes never been restored john weve had her since 1967 run her until 1980she had new wings n rad grill in 1970 when she was repainted only me driven it since i was 17 in 1969 it is under 3 ton n plated at 10 ton gross

Brings back memories seeing this old girl!! IIRC I used to pass it/meet it up and down the M6 between Preston and Lancaster,loaded with bags of sawdust,I think!!! But as it was from Ingleton it could have been bagfuls of £Fivers!!! Cheers Bewick.

Hiya …this had a 8 cylinder gardener fitted if it was a 240 or down rated i don’t know. i think she
had 4 drivers at this firm and never asked any of them if it was a 240 or not.
after mayday sold her she was operating in Ireland
