lots of us parked in Wervik,Belgium waiting to load furniture for the Uk.
Redundant from Bymacks…so went to work 4 the Belgium’s for a few years…FL10 was my first truck there.
Glad i never ended up with this 2500 DAF

Thats it…truckline ferries poole to cherbourg…My daf 3300 coming up linkspan in cherbourg,just did a change over in the port and straight back on… flat bottom ferry was not the best…i think the purbeck was sister ferry to that 1.

Hi Graham…i think i mite know u…cuz when i finished for confortluxe…the belgiun firm, i worked 4 downtons for a couple of years.then left and went on 4 corby chilled.in fact i’ve worked at downtons twice now…first time was when they just had about 30 trucks…Currently driving 4 samworth brothers out of bristol depot…
