Had travelled down late so too dark for any Pics on the way down, thought I’d get some on the way back up but the heavens opened so only managed this at Southwaite
Went to Tenerife the week after but nothing much of interest other than this -

The Austin Devon pedal car brings back a few memories, and was that a D-type Jag behind the Bedford?
Can’t say that I recall McInnes of Alloa, but that, mainly Scottish, habit of
maximising the side of the cab for the name was very popular at one time. I
expect others can come up with similar examples, didn’t Sammy Anderson do
that too?

When I was akid many years ago the barbers my parents took me to had a model one of those and I used to sit in it to have my haircut.
Never did get a good haircut but the car was great and you got a fruit salad sweetie after.
It made you forget about the blood running down from your ear when he nicked it
