Nice pic’s Convoy, how did you get on with a curtainsider, in the recent high winds?

Got to be honest, couldn’t go back to a curtainsider after doing flats, steps and low loaders, find every job a challenge, on sheeting, roping, strapping and chaining it down

John

I only had that one yesterday and did not have
a problem with the wind but you have to be
cautious with the curtains buckles ect. The
only time high winds got to me was when I
was going over woodhead with curtainsider
but recently I have been driving rigid fridges
and flat beds.

Good pic’s convoy  , was that your first class 1 job? If so, how did you get on?

Those standard cab DAF’s I used to think looked crap, then I drove one for Raymonds on an agency though, and I was well impressed by the drive, it was a 6 legger, very high mileage and knocked to ■■■■■■ but it was smooth and comfy a good motor to do a days work in, totally changed my opinion of them!
