Hi guys, as I’ve never really drove much I’ve started doing longer runs now. Am I right in saying I’ve 15 min left before I need to break?
Yes.Number on left is driving time, number on right is break. You have 15 mins max before you need a 45 to reset
STOP THE LORRY…!
Get out and have a brew.
can’t remember the last time i drove over 4 hours lol
As said it’s a 15 minute warning that you need to stop for a break.
Could that be false if the driver has recorded POA
Cheers folks. It came up as I was just finishing and ejected my card.

If the driver has recorded enough POA it could have reset the driving time, so yes if POA has been recorded it could be a false warning.
You should probably know all this before you get behind the wheel of a hgv.
Yes thats what it means…but dont push it to the full 15 minutes before stopping, i would stop at that, or if pushed a max of 10 minutes or you will go over and get an infringement…naughty boy.

Wish DesyPete was here to mention CPC
Should that type of tacho be counting down your last 15 minutes,1.4 Siemens seems to do it like that
