Some foreign drivers are good

I’m parked up in a quiet secret/secluded spot near Wolverhampton. There have been 2 German drivers here for 2 days and they have just left (I know they are German because I spoke to them.)

Evidence of them being parked here, zilch. Any rubbish left, no! Not all foreign drivers are the same.

I have seen them here before and same result, it is an excellent spot and one I won’t be sharing

It it also a taxi rank area and I have often seen them drop MacDonald stuff - and told them :imp: (did have a scuffle/touching with one a while back  but he did pick it up).

Not always us is it!

Did you say you were touching a taxi driver ,in a secret spot??

I think the word some is not fair there are many good foreign and even British drivers, it’s the minority that’s the problem, but they’re the ones the get noticed and remembered.

Saying that I’m not surprised that German drivers cleared up after themselves, just go there and see how little litter there is, it’s this country that’s seems to have plenty of people who think it’s ok to throw litter out of their vehicles and it seems to be some done by all ages and regardless of money or social status. :smiling_imp:

Good and bad amongst all. Foreign drivers are no worse than some of ours. I actually find it much better driving in Europe. Unfortunately a lot of British drivers like to put everyone else down but themselves.

From my observations, and for the most part, foreign drivers tend to possess more driving etiquette than us Brits, and are generally less ignorant. It’s almost as if the foreigners are professional drivers, whereas a lot of Brit drivers are employed by a company as a driver, and just happen to have an HGV licence.

Far from being the standard, but it’s definitely a pattern I’ve noticed.

Your observations are spot on.

Spot on mate.
regards dave.

Germany has strong enforced laws regarding litter and everyone there is taught from a young age not to drop litter. Its something we could learn from.

As for more professional drivers it comes from having far better and more in depth training than we do. The version of the DCPC countries like Germany and The Netherlands have is far more stringent than the pathetic excuse for training we have here. Plus they have had is for at least twenty five years. When I hear UK drivers moaning about having to do a weeks so called training sat in a class room in one breath and the next complaining about lack of respect I despair.

I was in ASDA yesterday picking some shopping up and as I’m walking out this bint about 55 ish just screwed up a piece of paper and dropped it on the floor :open_mouth: not even a second thought just screwed it up and dropped it :open_mouth:
