Some advice for you all

I know this should be in the health section, but, more people will see it here.

Should you ever have to have an endoscopy, ALWAYS choose the sedation rather than the throat spray.

My wife’s a woman (obviously) and she had to have 3 endoscopies in the last 6 months, always had the throat spray rather than have to spend hours in hospital afterwards.

Man up fella!!!

I just swallowed

I had one two weeks ago with the throat spray. Agreed it was not pleasant but I was back at work 20 minutes later.
If I ever had to have another I would do the same again.

I had the sedation but you can’t drive afterwards.
I never felt the pipe going down but spaced out while they did it.

I had a bronchoscopy done a couple of months ago.

The throat spray wasn’t optional, they told me you get that regardless, but the sedation was optional and strongly advised, so I had both and I would highly recommended doing the same to anybody else.

I had it done about four years ago just with the spray no problem.

And make sure you’re in the queue before the bloke having the colonoscopy.
Also, if having your prostate examined, make sure the doc has removed his wristwatch & cut his nails! :open_mouth:
