You’re on the outskirts of St Tropez and the rally was in the Domaine des Naiades the other side of the N98 from the golf course.

Yup, Lone Wolf, we were there for 5 days and although I’m not into bikes, don’t even have a bike licence, it was spectacular especially the paint works on the finished bikes. The Gendarmes closed the local roads and the bikes in Wheelnuts vid cruised around the villages in endless procession.
This before Orange County Choppers became popular viewing too.

Very nice bike mate, I had a load of photos from that trip but can’t find them now :confused: How they were secured in the truck on their frames for FLT unload or rearrange, well slick and prob worth more than a load from Dewars!
If I can find I will post, lot more fun than (2001) kitchens from pre EEC Poland to Norway and Finland in curtainsider!! I think my picture backup store is a bit hit and miss as that’s all I can find this evening.
All good fun and think I’m back there this year but not bikes.

Load a tilt in Naples then deliver in Norway via Austria (pre-EU,) West Germany, DDR, a ferry across the Baltic, then Sweden (pre-EU,) and finally into Norway.

Given that you used a curtainsider, I guess you were ‘open-TIR’ like me then??
