Why do some HGVs pull right over onto the verge ? Then sink up-to their axles causing untold damage & a very hefty towing fee.
If I break down I pull over as far as is safe & put my hazards on, the old bill will soon be along to cone it off.
Probably cos they ain’t paying the bills, same as most negligent damage and needless tight tyre shredding U turns, if the money was coming from drivers pocket you’d see some different attitudes out there.
