all he runs now is 6 wheeler for straw… soapdaft got rolled on the a6 just outside stockport heading back to the yard in tideswell. think its was the bad left turn on there not far from disley.he was running 2 white xf’s and then lost work and then paid me and other driver off.
most of all the stuff came off the wagon before it went
What was the name of the other driver?.
I used to work with a bloke that i last saw working on there,always kept his motor spotless.

aye duffy drove it… sure he came from up scotland. think he now drives for intake transport with the colin mcrae daf xf.
Someone must have more photos of this fleet in its prime, be nice to see them, a kind of tribute?

Nice bloke i worked with him on ponsonbys,we used to have alot of outbased drivers,and they used to take alot of pride in their motors,

dad has twilight zone pictures, just need scanned. roy never really had pictures of the whole fleet.

Comedy classic the red XF was at Haydock truckfest a few years ago, was owned bt a guy named Wayne Catt from Preston way, don’t know if he still has it as i’ve only seen a couple of T cab Scanias with his name on recently.
