I worked today, it was double time so I thought I may as well, started at 05:30 and finished at 13:15, 1 load into wilkinsons Worksop and 1 load into B&Q Worksop

I did Bridgend-Bristol then Bristol-Oxford and on the M4 I felt like an unwilling extra in a public information film on how not to safely drive your car on the motorway. Don’t know why I’d forgotten a sunny bank holiday dazzles Micra drivers causing them to accidentally join the motorway - well I assume that’s what happens.
Oh yes, love Bank Holidays…
Cruise around in the sunshine, enjoy the views, window down, system up, and get to invoice a huge wedge for it as well… there should be more Bank Holidays !!!

Well, they were great the way I was going, at the time I was going !
M5 at the M4 split was slow southbound as I was heading back from Avonmouth.

Guilty as charged. Currently waiting to get on a bay at Brakes Reading. Plan is to reload Southall and drop trl at Nuneaton ready to pick a load for Stowmarket up in the morning. That’s the office plan, my plan is to make some calls and make sure the Stowmarket is loaded and waiting when I get there. No point in ruining a Bank Holiday for a paltry 9 hours is there?
I must have just missed you then… Got stuck on the way in southside of M25 this morning, turned up around 11am. Got the nice runaround to there and tamworth these last couple of days. Upto Marston Gate tomorrow.
