Got 6 drops all round Norfolk for [zb] sake.
What your saying is your
Boss is treating it as a normal Friday working day as its three days before Xmas, but you think because its Xmas you should have an easy day and get the early finish you hoped for
I am deeply concerned that Dozy has been stitched up and he has been unable to post about it, we should start a campaign to get him home safe for Christmas.
It’s almost like there is a campaigne by his boss to keep him away from home
Send
Him
Away from
Grantham
How many drivers would sit at home if they were not getting paid if you don’t like working for a living pack it in

An early finish on the 24th is a bonus not a right. An early finish 3 days before a holiday is an extra bonus.
I know we welcome time off, but lets look at it realistically: give it a few more years and people will be moaning if they
ve to do more that a weeks work
tween summer and winter breaks!

My lorry tucked me up by breaking down on the M5 on my way home … Slightly fed up as rushing around the last few days to clear the work load…
Nope, works party last night (bus and food and drink paid for by the boss) and then bussed this morning to a pub for breakfast (also paid for by the boss) and given a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine

Mulled wine may be seasonal, but not warmed lager surely?

Your full of the Xmas cheer . It’s always been traditional for the last working day before Xmas to be job and knock. It’s the last 15 or so years with all the so called “logistic “ or just in time stuff that’s eroded it
Had 1 drop at Scunny steelworks, then over to Riccall near Selby to collect 2 drops of concrete panels for farms in Denaby Main, and Briestfield near Dewsbury, (Which is only 5 minutes from home.)
Back into the yard at Morley at 15.30, and 9.75 hours of pay at time and a half, including paid break. Easy day.
