I’ve just been to drab RDC’s so not worth mentioning really. 
I’ve just been to the bathroom and sunk the chocolate Bismarck.
Apart from that, I’ve delivered flour to Wales (crap parts like Roath and Nelson), London (crap parts like Park Royal), double manned to Cornwall and yesterday drove a clapped out 54 reg cf to a crap place called Coseley in the Black Country to possibly the crappest bakery in the Midlands.
I’ve also have to work longer notice than I want to, so a crap week really.
Somebody must have been somewhere exotic, surely?

Weekend done and 10 days off.

Forget the delays & expense of the Ferrys & Tunnel, simply pump more air in your tyres & float across. You could set up terminals at all the south coast beaches & sell compressed air for the tyres.
Every wagon could even have its own Duty Free Shop, selling the driver cheap ■■■■ & booze at pre 1990 prices (when it was worth buying )

Mon… Down to NYC via Albany NY, preload 2 tankers.
Tues … Just 12 miles from Yonkers into a dive of a hole in the Bronx, pump the crap off then return and load the tanker for some other poor bloke.
Weds … Load a dry bulker and drop it in Fair Lawn NJ, bring back an empty and load that.
Thurs … Hook to a loaded tank and deliver Scranton PA, return to Yonkers.
Fri … Preload 4 tankers then bob tail home (240 miles LOL).
Next week I bob tail to Albany then take another empty to Yonkers, bob tail to Kerny NJ load a bigger tanker and set out for Montreal, Canada, tues delivery.
