Well…i think he is a credit to himself and the company. He is as proud as punch of his new workhorse. Remember guys, he is a young man at the end of the day. And anyone who is offered massive horsepower, especially at his age…Will take it over anything.
You can see he has less space, but he will adapt. Well done young man. (Make sure you have enough gas for my free coffee!)
You will do anything to avoid having to wear a V8 jacket!!
Whilst there is less space in the fh, their is still plenty enough room once your sorted. I manage fortnight about in mine and do just fine.
And that 750 is a no brainer really. Awesome machine. Good luck to ya.
As others have said, a nice choice from 3 nice choices, and I’m also suprised you’ve ventured away from Scania.
I never had any trouble tramping in a Volvo, BUT I only did Mon - Sat, then went home, but you’re not a fool, so I’m sure you’ll manage.
If you don’t need to run at 44t, why would you run a 6x2? 4x2 is fine if that’s all the weight you run, and the number of hp will be the same for the weight you run no matter how many axles
I also agree with bigvern , even after the mishap a couple of years ago, Luke has always sung the praises of Virginia, been professional (at least from what we see - and there’s no reason to think otherwise) and been a shining beacon for the company, I even applied for an advertised job with them a year or so back which I would never have done if it wasn’t for Luke’s posts and video’s.
Nice 1 lad
Now has Virginia given him that truck over another deserving driver because of the press switch gives them with his twitter, website and his fame on trucknet
Acck stick it where the sun dont shine, im happy in my crappy cf…crys in a dark corner
Can we have a video showing us how to cook in a cramped Volvo cab?
Lol!
Good pick Luke
I bet the other drivers are a bit miffed that they didn’t get it

Quite so Wayne, I just prefer the look of a 6x2 truck to a 4x2 one. 750 horses for 38 tonnes or I suppose maybe 40 is a bit harder to justify than for 44 tonnes. Not that you need more than 500 for 44 tonnes anyway. My bs aside it is a minter though!
