So, new lorry, easier to spot, and new videos

jessicas dad:
its on his website what he has gone for and im surprised. :open_mouth:

i am to be honest but totally get why u would choose that im sure i could make my peace with a little less room for a 750 :grimacing:

A good choice was made!
I am thinking of starting up a proper diary / blog myself mainly through your inspiration and remembering jobs and your trucks etc.

I came to filling in my paperwork for the week today and struggled to remember Monday so I think a nice little photo blog with the occasional video is in order.

Lots of people do seem to enjoy them and it also helps people out when your in situations they have never been in! (Your fridge video helped me out no end during the Olympics)

Many congrats Mr Switch, very surprised you went for the Volvo not least with it being two axles, does that mean more forays over to the mainland? Will be interesting to hear how you go on with your steak and mushooms and wotnot after the spacious Holly but am sure you’ll manage. Anyway wish you many happy and safe meals and km in her!

Thanks everyone, gonna do a little ‘tour’ video* showing it inside and out in a bit. As for more euro work, lets hope so!

*If you’re not interested in trucks and think this excitement is daft then fine, but stay away from this positive topic please, I’ve heard it all before

you’ll soon get used to to the space you have available just a case of moving stuff round till it all fits and rig up a dash table for bertie

i’ve always said moving truck is worse than moving house

In my eyes it really was no contest to be honest…

i’d of gone for the volvo and there wouldn’t have been much of a contest either!

Nice choice Luke, although really it’s a nice choice from 3 nice choices,

Beautiful motor young man, health to enjoy, many good klicks and feeds ahead!

well done sir  I think its safe to say none of us will be passing you up a hill anytime soon!!

Nice, i’d say Virginia are loaded anyway so why not?

The only thing I would say and it’s not a dig is that 750 is slightly ott for a 4x2 and it would have looked even better as a 6x2 but that’s just me being a pedant. :stuck_out_tongue:

Luke, would you have taken the Scania if it had been a 730 ? Still what a choice all 3 are cracking trucks.

Does Bertie have a digital tacho card, do you use his card to do a double shift, at night to get a move on.?

Will you still be limited to 52mph lol

I’m currently driving a R440, so I’d take the R560. Don’t like Volvo’s and the Streamline is an over-rated piece of junk.

It’s going to have irish plates on, so it won’t start working till at least 65!

You are one lucky bugger… Very nice truck luke I’m envious…

Luke, have you asked if the workshop can take the passenger seat out to give you more room to cook?

A beautiful motor like that is no place to be cooking with a frying pan.

Watched the full video, looks nice! Shame about Bertie being relegated to the bunk :grimacing:

It is if you don’t use oil and cover with a lid! I thought everyone knew that?
