Everything that is now known, piece by piece.
Here is a list of his atrocities under which the Libyans had to suffer 4 decades.
- There was no electricity bill in Libya. Electricity was free for all citizens. .
2 There was no interest on loans. State banks forgave loans to all citizens at zero percent interest by law. .
3 Having a home / home was considered a human right in Libya. .
4 All newlyweds in Libya receive $ 50,000. This money should enable people to buy their first apartment. The government wanted to contribute to start a family. .
5 Education and medical treatments were free in Libya. Before Gaddafi came to power were able to read only 25 percent of Libyans. Today the figure is 83 percent. .
6 Libyans wanted to make a career in agriculture, they were given farmland, a farmhouse, tools, seeds and livestock as a quick start for their farms and all for free. .
7 If Libyans could find no education or medical facilities they needed, they had the opportunity to go abroad with the help of state funds. They received $ 2,300 per month for accommodation and car paid. .

Thankfully have NATO and Rebels freed the Libyan people of them .
quite an interesting post immigrant its certainly not the picture that was painted , as regards free electricity I can remember when they built what is now Sellafield and they told us " electricity will be too cheap to meter " not sure what went wrong there
Seems you can’t go on any forum now but you have to read propaganda from some interested party first.
All the above may or may not be true however Libya was still a dark and dangerous toilet before the heroes of the west decided upon regime change for it (I did not support that Btw)
The 3rd rate leadership that has been running the west and all the brainless things they have done will not lead to the collapse of Western civilisation, these things ARE the collapse.
When the hydro electric schemes got going in Scotland the people were also told that the power would be so cheap that we would not bother turning off the lights.Oh well the politicians cant be right all of the time.
Gaddafi had plans for an African monetary system which would have replaced the dollar, he posed a threat to those who dominate (own) the world, they got rid of him.
The north african/middle east asylum and refugee misery which will pale as nothing to the coming and yet to be seen rout of humanity when millions are displaced won’t affect those who ordered his demise (as well as Saddam’s), but the effects will be felt by all of us for years to come.
Truly those who ordered the destruction of Iraq and later LIbya are Lucifer, and millions of ordinary people, here and in other western countries and in america vote for them willingly, that’s the bit that bugs me most when we hail and endorse our deviant leaders while those who do justify it by the mitigation that ‘‘i’m better off with him’’…so was Judas.
Not forgetting of course, that in his latter years of fearful rule he was a drug-addled, ■■■■■■ pervert in control of around a billion dollars a week in oil revenue? No-one gets an iron bar stuck up their ■■■ for being a good guy.

To be fair anyone who thinks that putting the Muslim brotherhood and ISIS in control of the place was a better bet would obviously need some decent propaganda to justify their cause.
