I have a driving assessment tomorrow for a temporary position over the winter
The assessment is meant to be taking place in the snow plough that we will be driving, is there anything I should know about or would be helpful to know when driving it.
If you do get the job, look out for the abandoned cars left in unlikley places covered in snow, while getting dazzled by the snow in your roof lighs! You get a right shock when find them Missed it, but they have a bit more snow to dig it out from in the morning.
Hi Logic. That means that you’ve got a job for about 3 weeks then if your working in the UK. If you want to drive a plough for the ‘‘winter’’ you can come up here,we started ploughing last week and will continue until the end of April at least. We use 3 trucks for ploughing 3 or 4 axle rigids Volvo 540s with front and side ploughs, studded tyres, and, when necessary, ice chains.Have fun.If your a bit clever you can earn a bit extra clearing factories, and farms on the way.
