Snow in Spain

4 of my mates have been parked up by the police in Spain, two near teruel and two somewhere near madrid.

Not that unusual really. Happens most years. Teruel is always troublesome, and the mountains clog up a bit around Madrid. Also, there is always a closure or two around Burgos each year.

Don`t worry they are most prob stobarts!!! Are they classed as drivers jb??

Meeoowwww. Put those claws away

  Shut it Pagey!

Snow is not the problem down here in Andalucia, it’s the bloody rain. Hasn’t stopped peeing down heavens hard, with accompanying thunder and lightning for over a week now. Don’t think there is going to be much fruit coming out of here for a while.

Here,s a couple of my old photos taken on the Somersierra north of Madrid
Anyone familiar with the road should recognise exactly where the first one was taken.

This next one was taken just through the border on the Spanish side at La Junquera

First 2 fotos old N1 going north whats the name of that restaurant on the right thhey used to do a bloody good carajillo on those cold mornings

Spot on Vascoingles, the top pic was by the flags and second was nearer to Burgos.
Cant recall exactly which restaurant you mean, but to be honest if my fading memory serves me correctly
all carajillos were bloody good especially after the first half dozen.

Carajillos unfortunately something that can no longer be enjoyed on a cold morning since the Spanish have discovered the breathalyser

I suppose they could always leave the rum out of it, but I guess it wouldnt quite taste the same.

Just be a little pedantic here. A carajillo which I beleive translates to a wheelbarrow was allways made with Brandy not Rum :unamused:
