To be fair, we have just exhibited at the NEC, the S8000 and DB8500 picked signal fine, pretty good considering we were under a metal roof!

Is there a truck version of the TomTom Go 600 with European maps? If yes would you have a link?

Unfortunately there is not a specific Truck version of the GO 600 but if i hear anything in the future ill let you know

the company i work for provide a snooper sat nav i don’t know the model but i’ve found it takes too long to re route if you miss a turn which is easy as the maps/directions are not as clear as my tomtom.

yes that’s right the thing will take ages to re route, my one will want you to do a u turn for the next few miles, makes you wonder how many folk follow it’s direction going miles out of the way!

I have a snooper5000 had it for about three years now purchased lifetime maps it’s never let me down.
It wouldn’t charge so sent it back to snooper they checked it out and sent it back with a new incar charger
Bought a Garmin Dezl560 now that takes a life time to reroute it self both good sat navs but always check the maps for best results.

I have just bought a snooper, not the really posh one, and must say I am really disappointed by it. Have managed with maps and experience for years, backed up now with Nokia maps on my phone. I thought I had possibly been through one weight limit to many so bought the snooper with the promise of free life time updates. It has been a massive disappointment :frowning: I can’t compare it to the Tomtom as I have never had one.
I kind of think my phone has been right more times than the snooper to date.

Had had it for over a year and it would not start up so I sent it back to snooper and they fixed it free of charge.
Hope that helps those that found it hard to understand my post.

Your post wasn’t hard to understand. If I am correct it never let you down.

Then it broke.

It’s never took me anywhere it shouldn’t ie 7.5t limits and it’s still in use daily in Europe and UK.
The service I got from Snooper was very good as they fixed it out of warranty for free.

iv got a tom tom truck and its never let me down or took me near a low bridge in 2 years of having it.got me tro france as well
