Since the truck had a Roadhawk camera fitted the sat nav screen has been freezing up, i go in to factory reset to re-boot it,the annoying thing is there is now no sound on the TV.
The truck is shared with other drivers, and i sometimes take the whole lot home, so they do not "fiddle " with it, i left it in the cab, so could the night driver broken it in anyway?
And why does it take me off at a round about when you do not need to, only to go straight on?
If someone has turned off the sound on the navigation side the tv will stay on mute
I will have a fiddle on monday, i receive the tv picture which is ok, but no sound.

The snooper s7000 has always been revolting, but now there’s no sound on the TV
Just go in to setup and turn the sound up?

My current one, a P-Navi occasionally does that, as does my TomTom. For example, when coming up the M20, both try to route me to the left of the concrete barrier at the Aylesford junctions. I presume that as it’s on a long left hand curve that that is the marginally shortest route and as the speed limit is the same, it’s therefore the quickest.
Both also occasionally try to take me off of a main road, down to the roundabout and then back on to the main road for no logical reason, although it does tend to happen on left-hand bends, no matter how slight.
It’s not an issue with any particular satnav, they all use the same licensed mapping software, it’s just because computers can’t actually think or see, just make the logical mathematical decision, and if it’s three inches shorter to route you though the roundabout then that’s what it will do. It’s just an example of why you should use a satnav for guidance only and be prepared to over-ride it’s opinion using the Mk 1 human brain.

How old is your TomTom, Harry? And is it a truck specific model? I’m on my fifth one now (or is it six?) and I know that the earlier ones used to do this sort of thing. I had a Go 510 (until some low-life nicked it out of the cab) that would cheerfully route me off the Motorway and straight back on again. My current Go 7000 never does this sort of thing, and in fact often gives me a route that is a mile or three longer (and many minutes slower) than necessary, simply to stay on the Motorway or trunk roads. The car units are much more “willing” to take a shortcut (note this is not a function of the mapping data, rather the routing logic of the unit itself).
