What’s a weight limit?
It’s when you won’t do anything bigger than a certain size of woman, though some people don’t have cut off limits and will do anything with a pulse

i have a tomtom 720 running the truck software it says there’s no truck route available in which case i’d get the paper map out, ring for directions or start to PANIC

Ive been reading some of the posts on here and as my job of two years of trunking work is coming to an end it looks like I will be scratching on the rocken roll or going back on to agency until I find a permanent job again. I was thinking about up dating my tomtom one xl. Is it possible to get an memory chip for the slot at the back of it that has Tomtom work Truck software (if so from where and how much) , and would you guys who have it recommend buying the software. I have put low bridges on my old 910Go but never the less I still carry a low bridge map with me all the time. I know you cant rely on these things totally but they are handy to cross ref with a map. Just wondered if Im spending money that I dont have to. Any info would be appreciated, cheers.

It IS available for purchase off TomTom for a silly amount of money, or for MUCH less (cost of a sd card) via certain forums on the interweb
It’s bang on for bridges, but weight limits and other stuff it can be iffy on.
Recommended, yes, any aid is better than no aid. Relied upon with my life?? NO. I still carry a Phillips truck road atlas, but haven’t had to take it out of my bag since I did this.
If it is a available as an SD card can you tell me where I could purchase it please mate and have you any ideas on price? Ta

gpsunderground.com is a good start, to get the maps faster and easier cost me £9 joining fee(that is not a condition that was my choice to get into download area as a member) great help on there as well. i did my own card and stuff with the help.its made for the go20/30 range so not sure about xl/tt1 etc

There is a guide for getting it to work on the TT1 - not as quick as the Go 520 though.
I have it working on both a 1 and a 520
