I am thinking of getting a DB8500 truckmate Prosound.
The best price I have seen is at Satnav warehouse, but I have come across one or two people who have had trouble with companies they have bought from.
Has anybody got any thoughts on who to buy from, and who not buy from ?, I am thinking of contact after purchase if there is a problem with it !

First post and naming company,just saying!!!
I got my sat nav via them, was a snooper too,no real issues with the company, but snooper hopefully have stopped using The DX for deliveries, as they where useless, they failed twice to deliver to me,I told snooper to use a reputable courier service, which they did and organised a replacement product to be collected from them and delivered to me next day AM ,which was a success

I got mine off Snooper Direct on the net. It’s ok-ish, wish I could put more than 150 faves into it though
Oh and buy what you need, ignore the gimmicks. I use mine for hands free calls, but never use the DAB or the TV tuner

Just saying what exactly? The OP has not bad mouthed any one or any company with that post
I think he was just saying that it sometimes looks a little dodgy when a user’s first post mentions a specific company and their low price (or excellent service etc). The inference being that MAYBE the user is not entirely independent of the company in question - a bit of zero cost advertising…? It wouldn’t be the first time.
