Smokers outside their houses

Whilst driving the 44 tonner around,i have noted folks standing on their front door step having a crafty ■■■,with a guilty look on their faces,i never used to see this years ago,it seems they are petrified of “Her indoors.”

They stand outside pubs in the ■■■■■■■ rain and cold, sad people.

not if you go to the right pub.

i stand outside and have a ■■■ as i have 2 young kids (2 & 6 ) 1 has got a very rare condition so id rather get cold than let them breath the fumes in

i smoke outside because of the kids, also dont smoke in the car at anytime due to the kids being carried around in it

How do you know its their houses?

Nobody smokes in mine as well, so if you want to do it, you have to go down to the doorstep as well…

Saying that, my ex was a smoker (altough she managed to stay off ■■■■ for nearly two years) and she was going out for smoke as well. She never smoke at home, even before we get together. She did not liked the smell (well, smoker’s logic :stuck_out_tongue:)

Yeah but you got to be in the pub phil, not outside it.    but I think I know what you mean, we got one down here that post lookouts, and they carry on inside killing theirselves.

I normally go outside the house for a smoke…saves on redecorating.
So does the wife.

i can’t smoke in my house under the terms of my tennency so if i want a ■■■ i nip outside the door, don’t worry me also helps me cut down on what i smoke :unamused: :unamused: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I often see dogs outside taking a ■■■■, they have a guilty look on their faces as well, your not suggesting that they should be allowed to do that indoors as well are you?

:grimacing:

I have never seen a dog look guilty whilst taking a dump in public… truck drivers yes, dogs no

(usually in the back of a tipper when being passed by a bus…it’s true, it happened to mate of mine) :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

i wont smoke in my own house because i dont want my house to smell of cigarettes, its hardly a big issue, but good to see your observation skills are up to scratch!

Same here, and it makes the house stink if you have any friends :stuck_out_tongue:

Indeed. I rent a house out - it was easier than trying to sell it. Tenancy agreement says no smoking, tenant is a smoker. They can smoke themselves into a coffin outside if they wish but if they do it inside, they’re out on their arse. My in laws smoked like chimneys and they had to redecorate their house every 6 months it was that bad. The whole place stank and short of replastering the entire house, you’ll never get rid of the smell.

My daughter and her boyfriend smoke, the rest of the family dont,so they smoke outside. But you can still smell it :imp:

The other bods at work looked like frozen penguins all huddled together for a ■■■ last winter in minus 16c :open_mouth: , & when anyone made a dash back in the warm, the rest would shuffle about  , & with the coldest on the outside of the group pushing the way into the middle for warmth :sunglasses: , it was realy comical to watch as the rest of us sat in the canteen nice & warm eating our dinner, so glad I gave up smoking

Reformed and the anti smoking brigade are the worst hypocrites ever, how much carbon monoxide does your car or truck belch out but do I hear you having a PMT type gripe over that …No !
As for ‘chuckin his tenant out on his arse’ there was a landlord like that in London in the 60s, he was called Peter Rachman AKA Adolph Bloody Hitler.
Its not OK in my book for a male to rear end another, like some of the moaners here might, but I don’t say ‘I don’t approve of it so you must not do it’
You are obviously not thinking of the ex pub landlords CHILDREN who wont get many xmas pressies this year cos their dad went bust because of the smoking ban :unamused:

I’ve never smoked mind you but a mate of mine who is 10 yrs younger than me said its quite a good way to chat some birds up, he sees a group of girls go for a ■■■ then follows them out and has one too, he says when its raining It’s even better as they all crowd together under the smoking shelter. He’s a bit of a perv mind you.

No one has asked why Toby is driving a 44 tonner round housing estates, was that information relevant to the question? would the answers have been different if the lorry was an 18 tonne rigid?
