Does anyone know if there is any truth in the rumour that they are going to stop lorries from parking in Smithfield Market? Currently parked up in here along with about 15 other vehicles if this is true then Smithfield will be well buggered as most firms are at the end of their time when they come in and have tipped. Thanks
Writing on behalf of the meat traders at Smithfield Market in London, we know of no plans to stop lorries from parking around the Market.

Don’t you mean the butchers mouth?
I was there for the first time the other day, what a mad house, but must say I was loaded and gone within 10 minutes. I did see a HSF lorry backing up somewhere holding people up for 3 minutes, which means the poor bugger got the beep beep beep from everyone whilst he was trying to park his truck.
Lot of work with crossrail round there id imagine that may cause an addition to the mayhem

aye the crossrail work is a right pain in the backside with road closures etc but glad to hear that the parking is to continue as we are always pushing the end of our time when we get there
