Smithfield is only a nightmare if you get in there after 2am,b4 that it`s ok as there aint many vans about,if you only have pallets,stop near the avenue and find bobby or ronnie,they will be knocking around on forklifts,will take ur pallets of and run them to your customer,for a small fee,couple of quid a pallet i think,but makes life easier.

Yeah, like i say, been there before - once got stuck in there till after 3am, total nightmare. Should be there for midnightish tonight, so should not be much of a problem. Usually a doddle (that has cursed it 
).

A small fee!? I only had 2 pallets last night so I tipped myself, and he was still sat there glaring at me. He’s far too expensive unless you’ve got a full load for multiple customers.

Well, that didnt quite go to plan
I missed the - b/r beavis marks (i blame the roadworks) - so i ended up doing a quick tour of the banking district , surprisingly easy to get myself sorted, not sure Boris would have been happy. Even the bus drivers were helpful
Tipped and out of Smithfield before one, and it didnt cost me anything
