Coming down the M1 head onto the A1 at the North Circular and follow it in from there, 2am is really bad time to be turning up if you can get there earlier would help you no end. Once you get there look for Bobby or his sidekick usually seen cutting about on a forklift, if you have pallets they will tip you and deliver it at a cost think it starts at about £20 up to about £50 cash only receipts are given. If it is hanging then they will be able to point in the right direction.
Cheers for the info - do the customers have there own forkies or is it always a case of bunging cash to a porter?
Not sure if it’s hanging or pallets and tbh won’t know until I see my trailer and/or paperwork.
Edited to add -
I can probably get there a bit earlier but only about 01.30 as the load isn’t ready till 23.30. Any earlier also screws up my other two drops potentially.
Some of them do have their own forkies but if you use Bobby saves you having to get outside the door of the customer as he will take it there, the hanging bays are all around the outside of the main buildings not particularly difficult to get onto but you need your wits about you at that time because of the vans, don’t be surprised to find a van parking 2 inches off your font bumper as soon as put the handbrake on.

Cheers - I knew there was a reason I avoided markets!! If you see or hear of a slightly miffed looking bloke leaning against a wall gazing at a badly parked sprinter van, smoking a calming ■■■. Chances are it’s going to be me.
