Sleeping Policemen

Don’t worry if you see the cop car parked up on the M1 northbound, just after Wooly Edge services. The last two mornings at around 5am, the lone copper has being snoozing with his seat reclined right back.

I can’t fault him really, i would do the same.I am not on the M1 tomorrow morning, if anyone is, just see if he completes the hat-trick.

What as he fallen asleep with his radar gun in his hand, They usually park there to catch the speedy ones :sunglasses:

Seen a few on the A1 northbound between leeds and team valley, lights off, seats reclined right back and looks like the coppers asleep!

Even the police are entitled to breaks, shame they don’t give motorists breaks a bit more often though

They’ve had their stall set up at Scotch Corner for the past couple of nights just after the junction, half hidden in the bushes.

same on Carlisle bypass ,in layby just past truckstop going west,…I think I got nabbed yesterday 45 in 40 zone :frowning: :frowning:

Actual police persons tend to let lorry drivers get away with speeding at least in Wales, camera vans and gatsos not so, many folk including me have actually heard an oinky say we dont mind anything upto 50, mobiles is an instant fine and seatbelts it hit and miss.
