Sleeping Bag Choices

when needed double quilt & PJs
and never lock the doors

Fitted bottom sheet, flat top sheet and single duvet. Did have one of those mountaineering type sleeping bags (narrow at the bottom) but had a panic atatck in it one night - f r eaked me out :open_mouth: Oh, and when it’s really cold my daughter’s old hot water bottle - complete with ‘princess’ on the pink wooly cover :exclamation: Please don’t tell anyone that :exclamation:
Quite liking the idea of double duvet tho’

Don’t do nights out but take jungle sleeping bag (packs up really small size of a flask) and this combined with a night heater is great if I get caught out

Under sheet duvet and boxer shorts

If there is a fire, that is my last worry, and you are hardly going to freeze your nuts off, you can stand by the truck till the fire fighters arrive and they will have some clothes with them

For me it has to be sleeping bag, zipped up or not depending on the weather but set the night heater to come on a low heat about an hour before i get up.
I have thought about the duvet option , but although i’m the trucks main driver i’m on a rota so another driver has it for 2 days a week so the sleeping bag is easier to roll up & stow , another reason is dust, i’m on bulk feed, so dust gets everywhere so another another easier to roll up & stow reason.
As for evening wear , got pyjama shorts/t-shirt combo but rarely wear anything , as for getting out quick in the night because of someone pinching fuel or load tampering , let them carry on , i don’t get paid to be a hero to stop them, insureance covers that for the bosses, not a good beating for me., if they’re prepared to steal something , they be prepared to fight fo it , you carry on , but dont wake me up, i’m too cozy

My bunk is the size of a standard single bed, I have a bottom sheet and a big feather filled quilt for the winter and a thinner comforter thing for the warmer weather, both are king size so I can wrap myself up in them. I sleep in my undercrackers, just in case I get an itchy arse in the middle of the night and have a scratch in my sleep, don’t want to smell that during my early morning nasal excavations :open_mouth:  \

Never used a sleeping bag, they’re for people with beards (both sexes) who sleep in fields :unamused:

I sleep on a duvet of crushed velvet and rose petals, wearing just my wifes ■■■■■■■ and knee high boots.

I kinda do the slightly opposite on the occasions I do a night out.

Old sleeping bag on the bunk, opened out to act as a sheet if you like. That way the mattress is warmer because of the covering, then a king size duvet which I wrap myself in to keep warm. Then if it does get a little too hot, I can just throw it back and let my adonis like body breathe.

I too sleep ‘tackle out’ but it also has another benefit insofar as if I need to ■■■■, the smell can get away quicker and not get trapped in my undercrackers thereby lingering longer if it’s particularly smelly.
