Just read about this on twitter. If only there was more police on the roads, then they would realise this isn’t an isolated incident. If there is a foreign driver with a laptop on his dash, chances are he’s watching tv or a film. Not only is it down rite dangerous but even having an open laptop plonked on your dashtop is blocking a hell of alot of forward and right/left vision. I saw one the other morning pulling away from the DRC boths, watching television.

I follow Surrey Roads Police who originally tweeted this. From reading any of their tweets it fair to say they don’t sit around doing nothing like people like to think. Always been very helpful and informative if you contact them too. Same goes with Essex traffic unit. They are aware of the problems but don’t have the resources to deal with all the offences we see daily.
